I’m a Certified Yoga Therapist and creator of Make Peace with Stress and Reset & Restore.

Since 2005, I’ve been focused on offering the insights and practices of yoga in a way that’s simple and therapeutic to our overwhelmed nervous systems.

Most of us will agree, our modern lives don’t include enough quiet and restorative time to unplug, decompress, and reconnect with ourselves.

That’s exactly why I teach this class. To provide a deep level of self-care in one hour. Because we need it. Our health and wellbeing depend on it.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR THE YOGA NIDRA PART OF CLASS:
(Check out this 2:30 video for how to set up for the reclined meditation.)

  • A yoga mat. Or something to put under you as you lie on the floor, a yoga rug or an exercise mat is also just fine.

  • Support for your knees. A blanket, yoga mat, or a towel to roll up and place under your knees.

  • Support for your neck. A small bath or hand towel works well, it should roll up to about 4" around.

  • A warm blanket. You'll relax enough to lower your blood pressure and you’ll want to stay warm. Any blanket that feels good to you is perfect.

  • Something to cover your eyes. An eye pillow, bandana, washcloth, scarf, or even a clean sock can be used.

  • Socks for your feet. If your feet tend to get cold, grab the warmest, fuzziest socks you have.
