During your year in the group coaching community, there will be three 6-week sessions of engaging in the lessons and practices of the program and participating in weekly coaching calls. I've never heard of yoga therapy, what exactly is it?

You choose cold medicine based on your symptoms like a sore throat, runny nose, congestion, sneezing, coughing, fever, headache, etc. You get the medicine that relieves the specific symptoms you’re experiencing, right? Yoga therapy is the same process. The specific application of yoga’s wisdom and practices, based on your symptoms, can heal your stress inducing patterns so that you can experience yourself in new ways.

For example, when stress was ruining my life, at moments of complete mental chaos I would do a forward bend, breathe slowly, and concentrate as much as I could on what I wanted to do or feel. I didn’t know it at the time but forward bends promote introspection and the breathing helped turn down the volume on my stressed out nervous system, which gave me an opportunity to reset and be more deliberate about my thoughts and behavior. This one simple, therapeutic practice changed my life forever and I still practice it all the time!

I'm so busy! How much time will I need to do this?

All of the lessons + practices are short and concise! And to support making the benefits of this work part of your routine, the science of habit-building is built into the program. You’ll start small and gradually increase the time you’re spending on the Growth Work: for Module 1 the Growth Work takes about 5 minutes each day. Module 2 around 7-10 minutes. Module 3, 10-12ish. Each Module includes a video lesson and the pages of the Growth Work Book are delivered as PDF files throughout the program. The practices, which include very simple movements as well as meditations are taught by me through audio files (where I lead you through the practice instructions in my calmest, most relaxing voice) as well as a printable practice guide that features illustrations and step-by-step written instructions.

You’ll find the materials very thorough and comprehensive. And everything is also available through the Teachable app! This means you can access the videos, audios, and even the reading right on your phone with ease!

I've never been able to stick to changes, how is this different?
